How to change Date Formats and set timezone in ProfitBooks

In ProfitBooks, the users can customize date formats and set their preferred time zones. While some prefer the month/day/year convention, others are more comfortable with day/month/year. Customizing date formats and time zones at the user level improves overall user experience and efficiency. Companies who operate across different time zones can set time for each user accessing the accounting software.

There are 3 date formats available:

  1. YYYY/MM/DD

  2. MM/DD/YYYY

  3. DD/MM/YYYY

Let's see how to change date formats.

Please go to Employees> Employees, edit the profile of user from Action Button.

  1. YYYY/MM/DD

Select the Language as English for YYYY/MM/DD format.

2. MM/DD/YYYY

Select the Language as US English for MM/DD/YYYY format.

3. DD/MM/YYYY

Select the Language as Indian English for DD/MM/YYYY format.

Timezone can be set from Employees>Employees, edit the user profile. Users can set their timezone effortlessly by simply selecting their region from dropdown menu, ensuring accurate timestamping and seamless collaboration across global teams.

Customize your date format and timezone preferences to suit your needs, with these changes reflected across all areas of the software, including invoices, vouchers, reports, and dashboards, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all your accounting tasks.
