How to add a New Bank Account ?

Let's see how to add Bank

Please go to Accounting > Chart of Accounts > New Account



Fill in the below :

Account Name: Its the name you want to call this account
Account Group: Select the account group as Bank Account from drop down
Effective date: Select the effective date of the bank account. The account can be used from this effective date only while creating vouchers.
Opening Balance: Enter the amount if there is any opening balance
Bank Account Number: Enter the account number, Bank name, RTGS Code, MICR Code, IFSC Code, Bank Address, City, State, Pin code (This is optional data)

Click on Save and its Done !!
